Amanda Arriola

My name is Amanda, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist located in New Braunfels, Texas. I earned my M.A. in Professional Counseling from Texas State University in 2016 and have been working with children of all ages as a public school teacher and counselor since 2011. I am passionate about supporting children and tailor each session to fit their unique needs, often incorporating games and art techniques into the process. My goal is to build trusting relationships with every child and their family, providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment for exploring and processing feelings.

I believe that each client has innate strengths and abilities that can help them work toward therapeutic goals. I provide play therapy and individual counseling using child centered and strengths based approaches for children, adolescents and teens ages 3-18.

Outside of my work as a counselor, I am a proud wife and mom of three young children, two dogs and a cat. I love spending time with my family, traveling and trying new foods.
