    Adolescence is a time of tremendous change. Emotions can feel overwhelming, relationships become more complex, and the pressure to succeed or “fit in” can take a toll on a teen’s sense of self.     What is Adolescent & Teen Therapy?

    Adolescent and teen therapy is designed to support the emotional, social, and mental well-being of youth ages 11 and up. At Hill Country Heart Counseling, I use a combination of solution-focused and person-centered therapy to build trust, identify strengths, and empower young people to navigate life’s challenges. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the teen in front of me.

    Because teens often express themselves differently than adults, I also incorporate creative and engaging interventions like games, art, storytelling, or journaling. These tools allow teens to explore their inner world in a way that feels natural, meaningful, and-at times-even fun.
